This type of ration is used by the Swedish Armed Forces and is well-suited for outdoor activities, hunting, vehicles, boats, emergency kits, and other preparedness situations where you want ready meals with a long shelf life.

This is the variant with soft preserves, meaning that the main meals are ready to eat immediately. They can be eaten both cold or hot and require no water for preparation. If you want a hot meal, they can be heated, for example, in a water bath, pot, or heating pouch.

A major advantage compared to freeze-dried food is that you don’t need to deal with camping stoves or cooking—you can eat directly from the pouch or easily heat the food with a chemical heating pouch by simply adding a little water.

Everything is delivered in a sturdy outer bag that is easy to take with you.
