Heating pouch for MRE and soft cans – heat your food without a stove or fire

This chemical heating pouch allows you to heat 24H Meal and other soft canned foods without a camping stove, pot, or open fire. All you need to do is add a little water to the pouch – then the heating element produces enough heat to warm your food directly in the packaging. Perfect for outdoor activities, fishing, preparedness, your car, or situations where you want to eat hot food without having to carry a stove and fuel. Please note that the heating pouch is intended for soft canned foods – not freeze-dried food.

How to use the heating pouch

• Place the meal in the heating pouch
• Add about 50 ml of water
• Fold or seal the pouch
• Wait about 10 minutes

When water is added, a chemical reaction starts that produces heat and steam and warms up the food.

Tips for cold weather

• Feel free to use lukewarm water for faster activation
• Avoid placing the pouch in strong wind or directly on cold ground, as the heat will dissipate more quickly
• Once the most intense heating has died down, you can wrap a jacket, hat, or another insulating material around the pouch to help the food heat through more evenly
• This can be especially useful in cold weather or for larger meals
• Avoid boiling water as the reaction may become too intense

• Not intended for direct contact with food
• Use in well-ventilated spaces
