This type of ration is used by the Swedish Armed Forces and is ideal for outdoor activities, hunting, vehicles, boats, emergency kits, and other preparedness situations where you want ready food with a long shelf life.
This is the soft can variant, meaning the main meals are ready to eat immediately. They can be eaten cold or hot and require no water for preparation. If you want hot food, the dishes can be heated in, for example, a water bath, pot, or heating pouch.
A major advantage compared to freeze-dried food is that you don't need to deal with camping stoves and cooking – you can eat straight from the pouch or easily heat the food with a chemical heating pouch by simply adding a little water.
Everything is delivered in a durable outer pouch that is easy to pack and carry.
