German army folding sleeping mat. Perfect as a lightweight underlay that fits even in smaller backpacks.
The underlay is quite thin and is suitable as a spring and summer underlay or as a more short-term underlay in the winter (perfect for day trips).
However, the underlay works great even in winter if supplemented with a spruce spray bed or in combination with an inflatable mat.
The sleeping pad has small closed cells, so it withstands moisture well and is semi-rigid and is therefore unusually resistant to unevenness despite its thinness.

The sleeping pad comes from German army stores and is used.
Soldiers who wrote their name, minor rips or repairs (fixed in stores with German green tissue tape called "Panzerklebeband") occur. However, all are in fully functional condition.
