A complete set for those who want to try carving a figure with the absolute best conditions. Everything is included including wood, knife, surface treatment, etc. A link to a guide on Youtube is included so that you get an educational step-by-step description of exactly how to do it.
What is included are two wooden pieces, one of ash and one of cherry wood. Very sharp carving knife, "comfort bird" contour template, leather strop with polishing paste (to sharpen the edge if necessary to regain perfect sharpness), safety tape and three different sandpapers. The bird figure is the one you carve out and does not come with as a finished bird.

A "comfort bird" is a rounded bird that fits in the hand and can have a calming effect by stroking or pressing it, a bit like a stress ball.

The knife is made of high quality carbon steel, after rough grinding the knife is manually honed for precise angle and sharpness of the tool.
