BeaverCraft's short bent gouge palm P8A/14 is a very versatile tool. Perfect for concave surfaces such as kåsa cups, bowls and spoons. Can also be used in general to fix cut surfaces etc. A nice tool that also fits perfectly in the backpack for therapy sessions by the campfire. Rounded shape that rests securely in the hand and provides excellent control. Short blade for maximum precision.
BeaverCraft P8А/14 has a 14mm semi-round edge (sweep 8) and a curved blade so that you can carve e.g. kåsa cups. BeaverCraft's rounded chisel series is used with the hands and should not be used with a hammer.
The rounded chisel is made of high quality carbon steel, after rough grinding each rounded chisel is manually honed for precise angle and sharpness of the tool. The handle is ash wood and treated with linseed oil.
