Product description
Very versatile antiseptic wound cleaner. If you get a wound out in the woods, there is a high probability that it will become infected. With AKLA's wound cleaner, which contains chlorhexidine, you kill the bacteria in and around the wound. Try to use the wound wash as soon as possible after the injury. When you then apply a sterile dressing, the likelihood of you getting an infection is significantly less.
Wash, clean and then change the dressing 1-3 times per day.
The wound washer contains RO water and 0.05% chlorhexidine solution (bacterial and preservative).
New more environmentally friendly and easier-to-open packaging came in 2020. The new one is white, the old silver.
Sold in packs of 2. We recommend that you have 4-10 wound washes in your healthcare equipment so that you can continue to clean the wound even if you have a couple of days at home.
We at Rodastjarnan have involuntarily tested these wound washes when one of us managed to cut off the tip of a finger. (yep, Fällkniven makes sharp knives). Despite a wound surface of 1x1 cm on one finger, there was no infection. Only AKLA wound wash was used, in combination with simpler cover dressings. An inexpensive product that we highly recommend.
