Field Shovel KLAS

Product description

Classic shovel, this version is an exact reproduction. Called KLAS (Kort-Liten-Attack-Spade - Short-Small-Attack-Shovel).
Timeless design in steel. The blade can be folded.
Length when folded approx. 50 cm.
Weight, approx. 1.3 kg.
Two holes for attaching a snow blade (not included).

This shovel is therefore newly manufactured based on an original KLAS. Made of steel (magnetic) and has exactly the same measurements and weight as the original. The blade is riveted, just like the original. Snow blade fits perfectly. It is possible to swap out the handle/blade with the original; one of the pictures shows an original blade attached to the handle of this version.
Slightly shinier color than most we've seen from the military, but dig a foxhole in a clay field to fix that.

KLAS shovels from the military's stock have started to become impossible to find, so we now offer this newly produced version.

The shovel is newly made and never used, they are delivered in plastic and bubble wrap but may still have some scuff marks from transport. But you're probably going to dig a foxhole as soon as you pick up your KLAS from the post office, so a few scuffs shouldn't matter.
