AGM MP-44/StG-44 Sturmgewehr is an electric airsoft rifle made of metal with a genuine wood stock. The combination of classic design, a weight of about 3.9 kg, and steel details give the rifle a realistic feel. It is suitable both for airsoft games and for those who are looking for a historically designed airsoft rifle from World War II.
The StG-44 was developed during the later years of World War II and was one of the first rifles to combine a detachable magazine, intermediate caliber cartridge, and the ability for both semi- and fully automatic fire. The design went on to influence the development of later assault rifles.

Metal construction and real wood stock

The rifle features a steel handguard and gas tube as well as an outer barrel, sights, receiver, and several other parts in metal. The stock is made of genuine wood and also houses the battery. The fixed stock, the slim handguard, and the reinforced details on the receiver recreate the characteristic appearance of the StG-44 model.
The open sights consist of a protected front sight and a fully adjustable tangent rear sight. Sling mounts are located at both the front and rear. Sling is not included, but a strap intended for the Kar98k fits.
Beneath the front muzzle section is a 14 mm CCW thread for compatible accessories. The rifle lacks rails, which contributes to its period-correct appearance.

V2 gearbox with good parts availability

Internally, the AGM StG-44 is based on a V2 gearbox compatible with standard V2 parts. This makes the model easier to maintain and provides good availability of spare and upgrade parts.
The gearbox is equipped with steel gears, 8 mm ball bearings, chrome-plated cylinder, ball bearing piston head, and spring guide in metal. An M130 spring is factory installed.
The adjustable hop-up unit is of M4 type and is accessed behind the ejection port cover. Hop-up can be adjusted according to BB weight to improve trajectory and range. The fire selector provides access to safe, semi-automatic, and fully automatic modes.

Battery, magazine and included accessories

The battery is placed in the stock and connected with a small Tamiya connector. The stock is removed by taking out the rear locking pin. Battery and charger are not included.
A hi-cap magazine with a capacity of about 400 airsoft BBs is included. The model is compatible with magazines designed for AGM MP-44/StG-44.
