Stylish backpack made of heavy canvas. Newly manufactured variant of the Bundeswehr backpack. A large compartment and two side pouches. A smaller compartment on the front. Large lid with a small pouch on the inside. The lid has sewn-on straps so you can attach things to the lid; maybe cooking container, ax or a tarp.

Steel buckles and strap reinforcements. Reinforced at the bottom with extra fabric.

The backpack is made of canvas and is soft. Weighs little and takes up little space when empty.

The German Army's foldable sleeping pad fits perfectly in a pouch along the back. If the sleeping mat is mounted, it gives stability to the backpack and protects the back against any sharp objects.

If you want to store a rolled-up blanket or similar under the top cover, you can attach the strap to the drawstring that runs along the edge, then it sits securely.

So approx. 20 liter volume.
Then the small pouches W 12 x H 20 x D 6 cm are added. each.

The backpack is a lovely retro bag for day trips or shorter overnight stays. The carrying system is of a simpler type, so probably shouldn't be packed extremely heavy, we think it's about 5-7 kg.
