The outermost grade that lies above the normally different grades of reindeer skins. Carefully selected to have an absolute minimum of inset bites or tanning damage on the back. However, reindeer in Sami land are very rarely completely spared from insects, so a small bite or tanning damage may occur, but this skin is for those of you who want the finest skin from a naturally living reindeer.
On the outside, the reindeer hide has beautiful fur with a fine pattern and good proportions.

The skins are treated on the back so they can be used for outdoor use. The treatment is a silicone mixture that is placed under the skin so that it does not absorb moisture from the ground. Works both outside and inside.

Reindeer skin is good to wear under the saddle on horses. Reindeer hair is thick and seems to absorb shock while spreading pressure over the horse. Also reduces the risk of chafing.

The reindeer skin is a natural product and like the reindeer, the skins also vary slightly in color, shape and size. Delivered unsorted.
