Basically, it is a proven VSR-10 weapon that has received a series of upgrades internally to provide an effective weapon straight out of the receiver . Very high muzzle velocity and precision barrel provide excellent precision.

The SA-S12 has a bolt mechanism - meaning that after each shot you bring the charging handle back like a real weapon.
Rail on top for scope or red dot sight, rail under front for bipod.

The biggest advantage of this weapon is the lavish internal parts that provide significantly better strength than most other manufacturers in a similar price range. These are otherwise parts you usually have to upgrade immediately if you want to have high muzzle velocity.
