**Carinthia Defence 4** is one of the world's most used and tested **three-season sleeping bags**, chosen by among others the **German, Swedish and Finnish defense** for its reliability in tough climates. It combines **high thermal capacity, low weight, and compact packing volume**, making it a first choice for everything from longer expeditions to demanding exercises and outdoor tours. The **G-LOFT® insulation** provides reliable warmth even in damp conditions and dries quickly if it becomes wet – a crucial feature when used for several consecutive days.

Water-repellent and windproof

The durable outer fabric is made of **100% polyamide** and has a **water-repellent coating** that protects against rain and moisture. A generous **zipper cover channel** on the inside prevents heat leakage, while the external protective flap provides extra protection against **wind and moisture**. The zipper is easy to handle even with gloves.

Flexible in extreme environments

In extreme cold, Defence 4 can be **combined with Carinthia Tropen or Defence 1** for a modular system that withstands the coldest nights of winter. This allows you to use the same sleeping bag year-round by adjusting the insulation level.

Spacious and ergonomic comfort
