High-quality spray paint from Fosco Industries. A fast-drying and highly pigmented paint that provides excellent coverage even with the first layer. The matte surface and durable alkyd resin base make it well-suited for painting, for example, airsoft guns, helmets, equipment, tools, vehicles, and other projects where you want a hard-wearing and non-reflective finish.

Painting camouflage and equipment

Fosco Army Paint is often used for camouflage painting of equipment and vehicles. The matte surface helps reduce reflections and makes the paint suitable for both outdoor activities, airsoft, and military-inspired projects.

Product NIR signature

We consider this product to be: NIR-adapted

Reasoning: Fosco’s paints affect a product’s NIR signature and make it possible to adapt both color and pattern within the NIR spectrum. The dark green colors are around 20–30% reflectivity, Pale Green and Marsh Grass around 70–80%, and black around 10%.

In the pictures you can see a G36 and a helmet painted in desert colors. Note how the pattern is maintained even in the NIR spectrum. The black pouch in the picture had very poor NIR properties before painting. Half of the pouch was painted with Fosco paint, which provided a significantly improved NIR signature despite little visual change.

A product’s NIR signature refers to how it appears in image intensifiers or NVG. This is relevant for use in environments where low visibility, even in the NIR spectrum, is important.
