Lavvu lightweight tent for tent stove Olive green

The hugely popular Polish rain poncho used as a tent cover (Lavvu) is now impossible to get our hands on and we started looking for good new made options. A small flexible and simple tent suitable for a stove.

It was this tent we found; a well-made construction with classic lavvu shape. The tent has good ventilation, lacks a floor, increased ceiling height and a special opening where you can let the pipe stick out.

The tent has double windows that can be used as a pipe opening, double entrances, ventilation holes at the top and loops for attaching storm lines.

Durable aluminum tent pole. The tent canvas is reinforced at the top and a hook for hanging a lamp is sewn in.

The opening for the pipe has velcro around it where you attach either the supplied stove jack piece or the outer fabric part that is rolled up above the opening when pipes are used, so you use not the pipe, you can have the tent closed.
You make holes in the stove jack according to the size of your pipe pipe and then you attach a appropriate flashing kit. Handles pipes up to approx. 3.5", a little depending on how hot you fire the stove. You can also run without a lead-through (as in the picture), but the effect will of course be worse and you should still use, for example, steel wire to make some solution so that the tent cloth does not come too close to the pipe. The stove in some pictures is a Winnerwell nomad view Large, a very large stove so it looks quite bulky in the pictures.
Ensure that the pipe and stove are always a safe distance from combustible material and that adequate protection is installed against the tent fabric. All fires are made at your own risk and responsibility.

The tent is light with a weight (including nails and stick) of 1.55 kg.
