Product description

Tent part tarp from the NVA, GDR's army. Multiple can be folded into a tent or worn single as a rainproof poncho. Pegs for tent construction are not included, but really just take branches or attach it to a tree or similar.
Made of thick cotton. Good condition, some have minor repairs but do not affect functionality. They have a few years on their necks as they are from East Germany.
Includesone piece tent part, you can snap together more or less as many as you like to create tents of different sizes and types.

Measures 175 x x175 cm, weight 1.2 kg.

One tent part can be used as a small one-man tent, sleeping bag cover or tarp.
Two parts become a small tunnel tent that is open on the sides and with 4 parts you get a backpack tent with doors on the sides.
We snapped together 6 pieces for a larger tent.
Contemporary instructions show how to snap together as many as 22 tent pieces!
Customer Jocke snapped together a 12 piece tent, impressive!
Distance between buttonholes 25 cm.

As with most surplus, these are becoming hard to come by and expensive.
